A Disney continua a apostar nas adaptações live-action dos seus clássicos animados e desta vez, chegou a vez de “Lilo & Stitch” ganhar uma nova versão. Com uma legião de fãs espalhados pelo mundo, este filme promete trazer nostalgia e novas emoções. Mas o que podemos esperar desta adaptação? Vamos descobrir!!
Sinopse
“Lilo & Stitch” conta a história de Lilo, uma menina havaiana que vive com a sua irmã mais velha, Nani, após a morte dos pais. Lilo sente-se solitária e encontra conforto ao adotar um cãozinho azul muito peculiar. O que ela não sabe é que o animal de estimação é, na verdade, Stitch, uma experiência genética alienígena criada para causar destruição. Com o tempo, Lilo e Stitch desenvolvem uma amizade única, mostrando que a família, ou “ohana”, vai muito além dos laços de sangue.
Origem e Produção do Live-Action
O filme original estreou em 2002 e tornou-se um sucesso instantâneo, destacando-se pelo seu tom emotivo, banda sonora inspirada em Elvis Presley e um visual encantador. Agora, com a tendência de recriações em live-action, a Disney decidiu trazer esta história de volta. O filme está a ser desenvolvido pela Walt Disney Pictures e conta com Dean Fleischer Camp, realizador de “Marcel the Shell with Shoes On”, a liderar o projeto. Chris Kekaniokalani Bright está encarregue do argumento e a produção envolve um misto de CGI para animar Stitch e filmagens no Havai para capturar a essência da história.
O elenco conta com Maia Kealoha no papel de Lilo e Chris Sanders a dar voz a Stitch, retomando o seu papel do filme original. Outros membros do elenco incluem Sydney Agudong como Nani, Kaipo Dudoit como David e Courtney B. Vance como Cobra Bubbles. Tia Carrere, que originalmente deu voz a Nani, retorna como uma nova personagem, a Sra. Kekoa.

- Nani Pelekai – A irmã mais velha de Lilo, que luta para equilibrar a responsabilidade de cuidar da irmã e a sua própria vida.
- Jumba e Pleakley – Dois alienígenas enviados para capturar Stitch, mas que acabam por se envolver na sua jornada.
- Cobra Bubbles – O agente social que supervisiona Lilo e Nani e que tem um passado misterioso.
